Our Impact

Over 15 years, Healing Hands has delivered consistent, measurable support to thousands of individuals and families

br Every day across Nelson Mandela Bay, lives change. A mother and her children find safety after fleeing violence. A homeless man receives his first hot meal in days. A student gets school shoes so she doesn't have to miss class. A family rebuilding after a fire receives furniture and hope. This is the impact of Healing Hands Community Project.

Looking Ahead: Building the Next 15 Years

Our first 15 years focused on urgent response and community support.

The next 15 years focus on infrastructure, coordination, and long-term impact.

The Integrated Night Shelter and GBV Crisis Centre represents this shift and serves as our flagship initiative for the future. This facility will provide:

  • 100 beds of safe overnight accommodation
  • Dedicated GBV crisis wing with trauma-informed support
  • Comprehensive reintegration pathways reunification with families, connecting individuals to healthcare, skills training, and employment

This is how we move from emergency response to sustainable, city-level solutions.
